The drain is out. I feel wonderful. My surgeon gave me a super cute hot pink knitted hat for chemo. So when I’m bald, my head won’t be cold. Awww.
Speaking of hats, I tried some on the other day, and I feel like they look stupid on me. I need to figure it out.
I’m starting to like my hair. I can rock this look. It looks cute with headbands.
I hung out at Marley’s in Ferguson last night, because my sister was working. It’s always so weird to go in there, since I was practically raised there (back when it was still Golden Greeks). I saw my first bar fight there when I was around six. Good times.
Speaking of Ferguson, the “downtown” area is so cutesy now that it doesn’t feel like home anymore. This is a good thing.
I have a great weekend planned. So far, so good.
Picking out paint colors today. Tim is painting my office next week. Yay. That will be an excellent “welcome back” gift.
I’m so excited to have Jackson on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The presents are wrapped and ready to go. We have plans with my family. We are going to make cookies on Christmas Eve, which he will love. Once he’s in bed, I’m going to watch It’s a Wonderful Life. I love Jimmy Stewart. Love, love, love.
Monday morning we (Grant and I) are taking Jax to see Monsters Inc in 3D. That his favorite movie (it even beat out Rio) so he is going to love it. We are going to the 9:45 am showing to keep him from annoying too many people. He’s vocal. 🙂
