Taxol number 1 is done. Only 3 more treatments to go!  I did have an allergic reaction to the Taxol, but they gave me Benadryl, extra steroids, and some Ativan, which knocked me out.  By the time I woke up, I only had an hour to go, and I was feeling much better.

So far, I haven’t had any side effects.  In fact, I feel pretty normal. I’m tired because the steroids kept me up last night, so I think I’ll take a nap before lunch.  However, last night felt great.  Dave came over and we watched Argo.  I stayed up much later than I typically do on chemo nights.  I had lots of energy and no nausea at all.  I feel pretty much the same today, though slightly tired. If I continue feeling like this, then Taxol will be a breeze compared to AC.  *knocks on wood*

My new bedding arrived yesterday and I like it.  I’m going out to do some shopping this afternoon, but I think I need a nap first. I still want to get the end tables and new night stand.  Weekends Only has some I like so I’ll probably go check it out.  Plus, I feel the need to go to Nordstrom Rack and try to find something cute to wear this evening.  Tonight Dave and I are going out, and I’m looking forward to that.  I think this will be the best weekend I’ve had in a while.  I’m completely amazed and totally thrilled with the lack of nausea.  I can tolerate almost anything else.
