I went to the chemocare site and looked up Taxol.  I found the following listed under side effects:

  • Arthralgias and myalgias, pain in the joints and muscles. Usually temporary occurring 2 to 3 days after Taxol, and resolve within a few days.

So it’s the Taxol causing this issue, and not the Neulasta, which makes a lot more sense. Why does my oncologist never warn me about this crap?  Nothing is working for the pain.  It’s hard to describe the pain, as I’ve never experienced anything quite like it.  It feels like waves of pain radiating through my bones.

I went to bed around 9 last night, and slept fitfully until 2, when I finally decided to go downstairs to watch some Game of Thrones and eat Raisin Bran.  Good call on my part, btw.

Hopefully this will resolve itself soon, because it totally sucks.  No signs of neuropathy yet though.
