My favorite nurse gave this stuff to me on my last day of chemo. Everyone signed their name on the back of the shirt.
I made it. It hasn’t really sunk in yet, but I’m already starting to feel better. It’s a great feeling to know that this time the feeling good won’t go away next Friday.
I’m feeling better about rads. My mentor emailed me and told me it wasn’t too bad for her, and that she thinks younger women tolerate it better. I hope she’s right. Regardless, it’s just another couple of months and then it’s done. I’m trying not to think too much about the long term side effects or the fact that this shit may come back and get me in the end. After all, valar morghulis.
