My kid’s school lets out at noon today for Passover. Next week should be interesting since we can’t send chametz in lunches until after Passover. Luckily, Jackson likes matzah (yuck) so I’m going to buy some today.
I’m very much looking forward to a quiet weekend at home with my kiddo. It feels like it has been a long time since we’ve had one. Assuming it ever stops raining, I see the park, bike riding, the zoo, and walks to the bakery in our future. If not, then it will be movies and the science center.
I (finally) have my appointment today with my old/new primary care doc. She’s like the best physician I’ve ever had, and I’m so glad that her office accepts my insurance now. Part of me is worried that United Healthcare will still somehow fuck it up for me though. They still haven’t sent the updated insurance card, so I have no real proof that they actually made the change to my account. Guess I’ll see in a bit.
Last night was a fun night out with the bf. We picked up a pizza and took it to iTap CWE. It was nice to sit down and think/talk about something other than work for one evening. Instead, we started planning our next vacation.
Danielle is supposed to come over either tonight or Saturday night for drinks and scary movies. Maybe both nights since her husband is out of town. I love all the time we have been able to spend together recently.
