It’s a rainy morning, and I’ve been enjoying reading in bed. I love Sunday mornings.
The bf and I started the OITNB binge watch yesterday. We are about to start episode 4 this morning. Since we weren’t together last night (or now), we cue it up so we can watch it at the same time and then we text about it. We definitely won’t have time to finish before I go out of town. Oh well. Something to look forward to, right?
Tonight is the season finale of GoT. The kiddo and I are going to the bf’s house for dinner, and then we will watch together while the kids play. I can’t wait to see what happens. I’ve heard crazy things.
I’ve started packing for Hawaii. For reasons that aren’t important to get into, I’m restricted to carryon baggage. This has proven quite difficult. Luckily, dresses and swim suits are small. The real issue is hats. I have two sun hats I want/need to bring, and I need to figure out how to get them there without smashing them. This is going to be easier said than done. But it’s worth the hassle. I got sunstroke last time I went to Hawaii (for my honeymoon) and that shit is not happening again. No fucking way. That was horrible.
I hate Amtrak. They suck. Carrie and I are taking the train to Chicago, where we will then fly non-stop to Honolulu. Well Amtrak has completely fucked up our return trip, and so I had to rent a car. I’m so pissed. This is the second time they have done this shit to me so I think I’m over Amtrak at this point.
My boyfriend’s birthday is on Tuesday and I can’t wait to give him his presents. I hope he loves them.
