My biological father is dead, and has been for a very long time. I barely knew him but have heard nice things, and also some not so nice things. My stepfather, the man who “raised” me, has been dead a few years now. I won’t get into all of that so let’s just leave it at this: I was dealt a shitty hand when it comes to fathers.

My ex, however, is an amazing dad. I have wished him a Happy Father’s Day, and I hope he enjoys the day with our beautiful child. I’m so glad Jackson has a loving and caring dad. It’s so very important. I would never do anything to damage their relationship. We both get how important the other person is, and that’s why we make a point of getting along so well.

My boyfriend is also an amazing father and I know he’s enjoying the day with his daughter. She always comes first, and that’s the way it should be. I hope they have a fantastic day together.
