I’m sitting at the airport waiting to board the plane. We have an eight hour flight to Chicago and a five hour drive to Saint Louis ahead of us. It’s going to be a bit brutal, but I’m looking forward to it because I’m ready to be home.

I had a great time in Hawaii. It’s gorgeous here. It was so wonderful to be a part of James and Nick’s beautiful wedding. I had a blast spending so much time with Carrie. I got to reconnect with old friends and made some new ones. That said, I miss my kid, my boyfriend, my cat, my bed and good old Saint Louis beer.
