I’ll be 37-years-old in July. How did that happen?
I’m a Cancer.
Which is sort of funny, because I’m also a breast cancer survivor. Ha.
I tend to joke about stuff that makes people feel uncomfortable. See #3. It’s one of the reasons I absolutely adore the show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
I’m an attorney. I’m a managing partner of a small law firm. Being the boss is harder than you think.
I’m divorced. By choice.
I have a son. He’s awesome. He’s the best thing I’ve ever done.
I have a boyfriend. He’s also awesome. He’s my soul mate. The love of my life. My lobster. Whatever you want to call it. He completes me. (Flow sweetly, hang heavy. You suddenly complete me. You suddenly complete me.)
My boyfriend has a daughter who will soon be my (step) daughter. She is also super awesome. I think of her as mine already.
I love them. They mean everything to me. It took us a long time to get to this point, and I’m very thankful and happy.
We are moving in together in a few months, as soon as our house is finished being built. I write about this a lot.
I love cats. I have one. She’s about nine-years-old. Her name is Violet. I want a second cat. I’m working on the bf. He likes to say, “Whatever baby wants, baby gets.” So we shall soon see if he stands by that. I haven’t been disappointed in the past.
I’m spoiled. He spoils me. I’m very lucky. I know this.
I’m always tired. Always. I don’t understand morning people. I will never be a morning person. I also don’t understand people who don’t like naps. My bed is my favorite place to be.
I love reading. It’s my favorite hobby. If you ask me what I’m doing, my response will likely be, “reading.”
Diet Pepsi and dry red wine are my favorite drinks.
I think every piece of clothing could be improved with images of birds and/or polka dots.
I hate They Might Be Giants. Unreasonably so.
I’m an INFJ and it’s shocking how accurately it describes my personality.
