We had a spectacular weekend. Why are they so short? *sigh*

So this morning I was on my way to the ex’s house to pick Jackson up since there is no school today, and I was thinking so intensely about something that I drove to his school instead. Oh Monday.

It’s kind of creepy to snap back into focus and realize you have no idea how you got somewhere.

I’ve looked at so many case files today that I feel like my head is going to explode.

I need a vacation. Or something.

I feel a bad headache creeping in. Grrr.

I bought this fancy planner from Sweden. It got here last week. I hate it. So I went to Target and bought a $12.00 planner that I’m totally in love with. Go figure.

I can’t live without my planner.

Today I hate my face.

I had a really good run with D last night. I can’t wait to do it again.

The debate last night really pissed me off. Ugh. I don’t want to talk about it.

We still haven’t picked out our Halloween costumes, and we are running out of time. Usually we are so good about this, but this year is sort of crazy with the move and everything. Anyway, I had a couple of good ideas, but I think I’m going to save them and just pick out some fun “sexy” costume instead. The sluttier the better.

In case you think I exaggerate when I say I feel like I live in the country now, I wanted to point out that we live across the highway from a corn maze. Yep. So of course we are taking the kids to it this weekend, because duh. I love stuff like that.

I’m going to take myself and my kid home, swallow some headache meds, chug a Diet Pepsi, and curl up with a book until the rest of the fam gets home. I’m excited to have the kiddos home tonight.

And the icing on my Monday cake: IT’S TACO NIGHT!!
