I’ve had two surprises today.

The first: a box from Amazon was delivered yesterday, but I didn’t open it until this morning, because I thought it was a book I had ordered while in the hospital. Though, admittedly, the box seemed a bit too big. I opened it this morning and it’s actually four books C & J sent as a get well soon gift. So thoughtful!!

And then these were delivered:

A little get well soon gift from the law firm just upstairs from my own.

The card was the best part:

We wanted to remind you how strong you are. We’re thinking about you and wishing for a fast recovery.
