I went to Old Navy on a whim on Wednesday to see if I could find some shorts I’d actually wear. I have a love/hate relationship with shorts. It’s almost impossible to find any I like. Well…I ended up leaving with three pairs. I particularly love this gingham pair.

These are perfect for hanging around the house or running errands. Like today I’m wearing them to the hair salon and to pick up some stuff at the drug store. My wardrobe is primarily dresses, but sometimes a dress just isn’t appropriate, and in those moments I’m always like wtf am I going to wear? It’s too warm for leggings now. Shorts to the rescue!
