Today has felt like the longest day ever. I’m still sitting in the hearing room. After this, I’m picking up Biz and heading home. I canceled my plans because I’m exhausted, and I’ve had a headache for four days. I want to spend a kid free night on the couch with my husband.

We don’t have the kids again until Friday. It’s not our year to have them for Thanksgiving. While I will miss them, I do plan to make the most of it. The current plan is to meet up with friends in the city on Wednesday night for dinner and drinks. Then we will sleep in on Thursday. Followed by a day of drinking and cooking and eating and miscellaneous. I’m very much looking forward to it.

Friday will be spent decorating for Christmas and hanging with the family. I may venture out in the afternoon for some shopping. I’m not the kind of person who wakes up at 3 am to do the Black Friday thing, but I bet I end up at Target before the day is over.

Saturday is more of the same, but followed up by watching D’s band play that evening. It’s their last show.

Sunday: wildcard. Anything is possible. I love those days.
