Friday night dinner date: still obsessed with game hens

We went back to the original game hen recipe and tweaked it a bit. We added red wine to the wild rice stuffing. It was good, but I feel like it’s still missing something. We’re trying to perfect it, because we want to use the rice stuffing on Thanksgiving. We’ll make regular stuffing too, of course! 😊

We’ve started making the brussel sprouts in the cast iron instead of the wok. These were really good last night.

We discussed our Thanksgiving menu last night, and I’m already excited!! I’m super pleased that we have the kids this year.

Tonight we’re planning to make an Italian feast. It’s rare that my husband requests Italian, so I am pumped for this!!
