I’ve stopped updating about individual books. I’m not entirely sure why. It just sort of happened. Anyway – I still want to keep a record here, and I’ve finished two books in the last 24 hours, so it’s update time!

Recent reads/reading challenge progress:

I’m in the Roxane Gay book club, and the September pick was a beautiful, but disturbing, book of poetry. I highly recommend it if poetry is your jam too. Trigger warning for sexual abuse.

And…onto the next one! The first chapter has me hooked!!

This Tuesday is the release of The Last House on Needless Street, which I’ve been drooling over for ages. I’m so very excited!! I pre-ordered so it should automatically download to my kindle on midnight on Tuesday. Squee!!! Might have to stay up late.

Gotta wait until mid-Oct for Nothing But Blackened Teeth. Gah. So ready for that one too, but I do love the book anticipation. I love spooky book season!!
