It’s not quite 6 am, but I’ve been awake for a while. That insomnia life! I should have taken sleep meds last night, but I took booze and weed instead. Lol.

Speaking of the holidays, I did about two hours of Christmas shopping yesterday at Ulta and Target. I think I can finish most of it up via Amazon. Except the sentimental stuff. I feel good about it. I’m ahead of schedule. Normally I’m a last minute shopper.

I’m a lady who lunches this week. I have three lunch dates! I feel like Miss Popularity. I had lunch with Jen yesterday, and it was so good to catch up with her. Today, I’m meeting up with Carrie, and I can’t wait to see her face.

I’m in the midst of a big organization project on the home front. I feel like I’m making a bigger mess, but I know it’s temporary. We have a lot of stuff to purge. So. Many. Clothes.

But, yesterday evening, I found a bunch of clothes I thought I had misplaced, so that was awesome; kind of like finding a new wardrobe. I even found a handbag I haven’t used in years, but is very much back in vogue, and looks even better than one I’ve been eyeing. SCORE.

This upcoming weekend is kid-free. We’re having a little dinner party on Saturday night, but are otherwise free to see where life takes us. Pretty sure it’s going to take us to the couch, and that is 100% okay by me.
