First of all, I’m retired, and it’s a mind fuck.

I didn’t get much time to dwell on it though, because before I knew it, I was being admitted to the hospital. After complaining about worsening shortness of breath during my appointment for fluids, I was sent to the ER. After a chest CT, it was determined that I have pleural effusion and increased peritoneal ascites, which need to be drained. So I’m staying overnight to be monitored and will have these procedures sometime tomorrow. It sounds like they will hopefully provide some significant relief.

In other news, tonight was Freya’s choir banquet, and omgggg is she just so lovely?!!

My brain is a fucking whirlwind right now. I hope I can get some sleep.
