Violet has been extra cuddly this last month or so. It’s like she knows our time together is coming to an end. Not imminently, of course, but sooner than we’d both like. So I get all kinds of amazing cuddles. I have no complaints.

It’s Friday, which means I get a weekend with the family. Frey has to work all weekend, which is a bummer. I need her to have a day off so we can go down to Cherokee and do some shopping. And eat tacos and ice cream!

I have plans on Saturday. I’m meeting up with MVS and Mandy. We’re going to a LGBTQ LS event at Shameless Grounds. I’m so very excited to hang with them and to finally meet irl some of my very cool FB friends. Besides that, the plan is to hang with D. He leaving town again next week. I’m kinda jealous because he’s going to Tampa, though it’s not like he gets to enjoy it. It’s a work trip like always. Still – I crave the beach. I miss the sea.

We ordered Chinese last night and started Barbarians. We watched the first two episodes. It’s really good and I’m excited to watch more.

My plans for today include reading, laundry, and vacuuming. I’m also meeting up with my ex to get Jackson’s passport sorted. That will be a pain in the ass, but it needs to be done. Maybe the RiekAlt clan will go to Turks and Caicos or Jamaica next year. I should check the status of Freya’s passport too.

Life is boring, but good. I am happy. I hope you are too.
