It’s National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. It kinda sucks that we get one day out of breast cancer awareness month, when we’re the ones who will ultimately die from the disease, and when it’s the most misunderstood and underfunded subset of breast cancer. To quote Metavivor: Prevention will not save the lives of those living with MBC, and it will not improve the 30% chance of metastasis for breast cancer patients diagnosed at an earlier stage. We need more – not only today, but all year for stage IV. Thank you to all of you who read, listen, and support me on this shitty journey. β£οΈ
