I had my second paracentesis this afternoon, and they drained three liters! Like whoa – no wonder it hurt so bad and I could barely breathe. I’m grateful to have this literal weight lifted. The doc says one liter weighs about two pounds, so I guess I lost six pounds today. Hopefully I’ll get some good sleep in tonight. The last few nights I’ve been unable to get comfortable. It was like being pregnant again with my giant belly.
