D is at the airport on his way to Pittsburgh. I miss him already.

- It’s back to reality.

- Not enough caffeine in the world.
- Must exercise tonight.
- I realized that I’m closer to 40 than 30 now.
- I am nervous and excited for my bf. (Vague, I know)
- I can’t wait to see my kid tonight.
- Texting all my pals I missed while I was on vacation.
- I want a burrito.

But I’ve been awake for over 30 fucking hours.
I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced this level of exhaustion.
I can’t go to sleep for at least another six hours.
*sigh*
home sweet home
- Got home around 45 minutes ago. I already have most of the unpacking done, and a load of laundry going. Go me.
- I’m sitting on my bed with my favorite blanket. It feels nice. I can already tell, however, that it’s going to be a struggle to stay awake for my shows tonight: Girls season finale and a new episode of TWD. Though I bet I end up having to take a Xanax before bed tonight due to Sunday night anxiety. Go figure.
- I’m hungry for food that I have cooked myself. I’m so sick of eating out.
- The cat is glued to my side.
- My kid is excitedly building the Lego sets I bought him yesterday at The Lego Store. I think I won at parenting this past week.
- The weather here is lovely. I opened all the windows, and I can hear people yelling at each other in the street. Oh STL, how I missed you.
- I had a Le Tote waiting for me. That was a fun surprise. Especially since I think they sent me an extra package for buying the earrings out of the first one they sent, so I have that to look forward to in the next few days.
