We did the final walk through today. Closing is Monday morning.
It’s so crazy to look at the house and realize that D and I designed this. We picked out all the pieces and made this home for ourselves. It’s so surreal, yet exciting. Somebody pinch me, please.
We made the deposit today!
There’s so much more to say, but for now I’ll just leave it at: OMG SQUEE!!!!!!
Someone swooped in and bought the house we wanted, which is a bummer.
BUT…
We have decided to just go ahead and build a house so we end up with exactly what we want. I wasn’t thrilled about the idea at first, because it is going to take longer, but the more I think about it, the more excited I get. I think picking out all the finishes will be super fun.
This day is turning around.
It would really help though if the meds I take to get rid of my tension headaches didn’t make me insanely nauseous.
It’s always something, right?
Pre-approval is done.
Consultation with our realtor is set.
Now we just have to find a place.

I’ve never bought a house before so this is very exciting for me.
I’m totally going to be one of those people who cries at the closing.
