help me decide!

This is the stuff currently in my Modcloth cart just waiting on me to purchase. It’s all pretty much a go, except I can’t decide about the black and white polka dot dresses. Do I buy both or are they too similar? If I only buy one, which one should it be? The bottom one is a looser fit, which I’m a bit conflicted about typically, but it would look cute with a pink or red belt. HELP!!

this week in fashion

Themes of the week: dresses, cardigans, and statement necklaces.

This week I’ve started a new thing where I’m organizing my closet by putting recently worn items in the back in an attempt to wear a wider variety of my clothing. Rotation is key. I’m trying to push myself out of my comfort zone a bit. I tend to wear the same stuff over and over, despite the fact that I have a closet full of gorgeous stuff.

Outfit one: About the Artist Dress in Navy from Modcloth. Cardigan by Merona from Target. Shoes by Audrey Brooke (DSW).

Outfit two: cardigan from Banana Republic (men’s). Leggings by West Loop. They are sold at Walgreens strangely enough, and they are my favorite leggings ever. Shoes from Target.

Outfit three: cardigan by Merona from Target. Pretty Perusing Dress from Modcloth. Necklace by Brighton.

Outfit four: cardigan by Merona from Target. Tunic from Rack + Clutch.

Outfit five: yet another cardigan by Merona from Target (love them). Up to the Minimalist dress from Modcloth. Necklace from Le Tote.

Outfit six: same cardigan as outfit five. Dress from Ann Taylor Loft. Necklace from The Limited.

Today’s outfit:

Dress from Ann Taylor Loft. Same Banana Republic cardigan from earlier in the week. Dave hates this thing, but I adore it. So cozy! Necklace says “happy” and is by Jook & Nona. I don’t typically wear gold jewelry, but this came in my Fit Fab Fun box and is too adorable to not wear.

I feel spoiled

My boyfriend gave me a Modcloth gift certificate for our anniversary, and I finally used it to place an order tonight. I’m very excited about what I selected:

The best part is: I still have quite a bit of credit remaining. ❤️

He also gave me a gift certificate to Victoria’s Secret so I can buy new sleepwear for when we move in together. We are looking for comfortable yet sexy. That’s our compromise. I’ve found a lot of good options but haven’t committed to anything yet. Here are a few I’m considering:

New dress love. They’re wrinkly, but you get the idea.

Modcloth was having a 70% off sale last week, so I picked up these three lovelies, plus a sweater, for under $100.00! They were final sale items and can’t be returned, so I was worried they may not fit, but they totally do.

YAY!!
